Large-format retail stores face complex fire safety challenges due to high ceilings, wide open areas, dense shelving, and continuous customer traffic. To address these requirements, a large international retail chain (Walmart installation scenario) selected our photoelectric smoke detectors as part of a comprehensive in-store fire detection upgrade. The goal was to improve early smoke detection while maintaining reliable operation and minimal false alarms across multiple store formats.
The smoke detectors were installed primarily on suspended ceilings throughout sales floors, warehouse-style storage areas, staff corridors, and back-of-house zones. Installation spacing and positioning were designed to ensure full coverage while complying with local fire safety regulations and international standards. Our compact, low-profile detector design blends naturally into commercial interiors without affecting store aesthetics.

Our smoke detectors feature stable photoelectric sensing technology, integrated test buttons, and clear visual LED indicators for maintenance checks. During commissioning, all units passed functional and sensitivity testing. The detectors demonstrated fast response to simulated smoke conditions while maintaining strong resistance to dust and airflow disturbances commonly found in large retail spaces.
Installation was completed efficiently without disrupting daily store operations. Facility managers reported simplified maintenance procedures and consistent system performance. The deployment improved overall fire readiness while supporting centralized safety management.
This project highlights our ability to supply reliable smoke detection solutions for large-scale commercial environments. As an OEM/ODM manufacturer, we support bulk customization, certification compliance, and long-term supply stability for global retail clients.
